 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: September 9th 1999
Likes: She loved being curled up under the covers sleeping right next to me

Pet-Peeves: HATED being put in her kennel

Favorite Toy: anything that squeaked

Favorite Food: steak

Favorite Walk: Chloe loved being outside, it didn't matter where

Best Tricks: she was an amazing jumper, she easily had a 4'6" vertical jump, as for other tricks she would do anything if she knew a snack was coming after she did it.

Arrival Story: Chloe was found by an acquaintance of mine in the middle of nowhere western washington. I was just to 'foster parent ' Chloe until her owners were found - she was a purebred miniature pinscher we figured someone had to be looking for her. I made her a dog bed to sleep in but she just jumped up on my bed and under the covers with me and bonded with me from then on. After 2 weeks of doing everything imaginable to find who might own this dog I realized she might be pregnant. I took her to my vet and found out that she was not only pregnant, she was ready to pop! 5 days later Chloe gave birth to 6 little ones - the cutest little things you have ever seen. Chloe was THE BEST mommy dog ever. At that point I decided she was mine and she wasn't going any where. As the puppies got older I knew I didn't have the heart to take them all from her so I chose to keep her daughter, Ali.

Bio: When Ali was 3 months old I took Chloe and Ali on vacation with me to Montana. In Montana I met my husband, we dated long distance for 6 months and then Chloe, Ali and I packed up and moved to Regina, SK. Chloe loved the snow! She would want to romp through it until her little feet were just about frozen. I tried to get her to wear little dog boots but she would have nothing to do with them. Mostly Chloe loved to play with Ali and snuggle with her mom and dad. She loved sitting on the back of the couch and licking her dad's head - he shaves it bald and she loved the taste of the after shave lotion. She was always protective of Ali and any other baby critter she came in contact with including my nephew when he was born. She was a natural mother. Chloe was also the first dog I had ever owned, I had always had cats - Chloe showed me just how much love a dog can give and brought the love of dogs into my life. Because of Chloe I will always be a dog lover. In December 2004 Chloe snuck out the door between my legs and bolted out into the yard, when I followed she made it clear she was really in the mood to run instead of come to me - she made a dash in the other direction. The UPS truck had just turned onto our very quiet, no traffic street and he hit Chloe right in front of me. She was killed instantly. Seeing Chloe die broke my heart, she was my best friend, a beautiful dog full of life and happiness. She made me smile just to think about her. I was devastated for me and devastated for her daughter Ali who had never spent a day on this earth without her mother. I knew then that Chloe would want me to rescue another Miniature Pinscher and give that dog the opportunity to have the kind of loving home she had. The night Chloe died I found Maggie on the Internet Miniature Pinscher site and something told me that she was the dog Chloe would want me to have. Ali and I drove to Missouri to meet her and pick her up. While Maggie is the perfect sister to Ali and a wonderful little girl for me, no dog will ever fill the place in my heart that belongs to Chloe. She will be with me always.
