Arrival Story:
I had been dreaming about having a puppy for a while. But when a classmate of mine brought a chihuahua to class, I went beserk. I really wanted a puppy of my own. I was obsessed--looked at puppies while I was in class. I could hardly focus. I went to look at a short haired chi at a breeder 45 minutes away. The first chi did not fit my personality. The breeder then showed me Sami, and I was instantly in love with her. I knew I had to get her right away. We went back the next day to get her and brought her home. She's been a great companion and I am lucky that she was my first dog.

Sami lives with me in Chapel Hill and studies medicine in her free time.
