Wanna pet me?

Life in the country

We just moved out into the country. I lived by a cement factory for a looong time in the city. My former owners dumped me and my friend out there. We had our puppies there! I think they didn't want any more dogs, so they just dumped us. I don't understand, but I'd let them pet me if I saw them again. I don't think my mommy wants me to ever see them again, though. She really, really does not like it when people dump their animals. She thinks those people are very mean and cruel.

Anyways, I sure like it out here in the country. I see deer, and roadrunners, and lots of toads, and we've got lots of room to run and play. I have 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Can you believe it?? You can see their web pages on my web page. There's dogs all over the place at my house! We all get along pretty good, but Moxie gets me mad sometimes when she tries to steal all of mommy's attention, or she tries to eat my food. (It's ALL my food.) I like to play a little. Mostly I like to get attention from mommy and daddy. I demand it. If they don't pet me they get a whine/growl. I can do my whine/growl voice for a looooong time. They call me alien, 'cause I've got buggy eyes and a funny face and my funny whine/growl voice. If they keep ignoring me I bite at their nose. I never bite them, but I know they get the point, 'cause they pet me when I do that. ha ha

Well, gotta go. I feel like being petted.
