Arrival Story:
I went to the breeder's house and when I was sitting on the ground playing with the other puppies, Barkly came over and just sat down next to me. I then knew he picked me and he was going home with me.

Barkly only drools when he smells food that he loves to beg from us, but as soon as he walks thru the gate at the dog dog park, he starts foaming uncontrollably. I apologize to the other dog owners because the other dog's backs end up with drool on them.

I do not understand why all you doggies out there are afraid of fireworks!?!?!?
You don't know all the fun you're missing by hiding all night long. I have an absolute blast. My mom and dad's friends that come over say that I am more entertaining than the explosives. I disagree. And I am always right!! Mom, dad and I live close th where the city has their fireworks show every year, so we have a swim party barbecue every year. I can't imagine not having an audience every year. I jump thru the air like superman trying to reach for the stars. I just know I'll get it right one of these times. WOOO WHOOO!!!!
Bark to you later!

Happy New Year!!! :)

HappyNew Year to all my PUP PALS and to everyone else out there!! Mom tells my that I am one CRAZY puppy. (by the way, mom calls me "puppy" even though I'm a big boy now.) Anyway, she said that I am the only dog that she knows that isn't afraid of fireworks. I told her that she was wrong, but she still doesn't believe me. If any of you out there are like me, email me so I can pass it along to mom. Whenever the Fourth of July or New Years comes around I get sooooooooo excited because I run around in the back yard and jump in the air trying to catch those crazy exploding fireworks. Mom says they're way too high for me to get them, but I'm determined to prove her wrong. I know I can do it I'm Super Puppy!! Well gotta fly. Catch you later!!

Guess what? I found out that I like tamales. My mom's family usually makes tamales every Christmas. I usually don't eat too much people food because I tend to have a sensitive tummy. I can tolerate fruits, veggies, and cheese, but other than that, I get sick. NOT THIS TIME!! Mom and Grandma went to the store to get something and left the tamales on the counter to cool before they were bagged. It only takes a couple of minutes for me to get my paws on something and this time was no different! I grabbed one of those "babies" and started to chow down. I even knew to take the corn husk off. Needless to say I spent a little time in my crate for time-out. It was sooooooooo worth it!!! My mom was kind of nervous about me getting sick, but I didn't; however, I did live up to my name of "skunk butt." Maybe as I get older I can handle more! Mom says, "not gonna happen puppy!" Oh well, I'm sure I will have more chances in the future. Gotta go! Bark at you later!!!! WOOF.
