 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: December 1st 1997
 Likes: Food and being petted.

Pet-Peeves: Thunder and other dogs jumping on her head.

Favorite Toy: She likes to chew kitty mice, but other than that has no interest in toys.

Favorite Food: Anything she can get her schnoz on.

Favorite Walk: Around Central Park.

Best Tricks: Retrieving help when I have a siezure, basic commands in German, being there for me when I'm about to have a panic attack.

Arrival Story: My mother, working at the Ashland Community Hospice center, was introduced to their therapy dog, Charlie. In an effort to calm her hyperactive German Shepherd, Shadow, she took her to Nikki Cook's Southwinds Animal Training school.
The first time we visited, I was introduced to her Doberman Pinscher, Chloe, one of her trained therapy dogs. She immediately trotted up to me and leaned into my leg. Also, when I had a seizure in the presence of the dog, she refused to leave my side and "boofed" (she loathes to all out bark) at the people around.
She's now my siezure alert dog, and I take her wherever I can. Not only does she make me feel safer about going out in public and having a siezure, but she makes me feel more confident talking to people I don't know. Just having her around does wonders for my PTSD and issues dealing with strangers.

Bio: AKC Registration #: WZ000477/07
Color: Black and Rust
Dam: Nikita's Rising Star
Sire: Samaria's Baron Von Apollo | Chloe was put to sleep today after being diagnosed with an inoperable liver tumor that had spread to her lungs. She did as she was told up to the very end. She was the best dog I ever knew, and there will never be another. -Jan. 29th, 2007

I kept trying to tell mommy I didn't feel good. I wasn't hungry, even with the real tasty wet food she got me. I wanted to stop a lot while we were out on a long walk, and while it was nice of her to get me lots of water on the way and give me time to wait. But oh boy, when she woke up from her nap and saw what had happened to my foot, she was ready to go then.
My foot was all swollen because I licked my leg until I got an infection. So I had to have a shot of penicillin and get some pills and some spray to stop me from licking. The vets were really nice and I gave the Golden Retriever who belongs to the vet kisses.

Day before yesterday the doctor gave me a clean bill of health. No more post surgery check-ups for me! Though I did like being spoiled with the wet food. Back to boring old dry food now. Ptooey.

I was sorta upset that mommy didn't give me any food last night. My tummy was hungry, so when we went for a walk this morning I thought we were gonna get some. But instead we went to into a vet's office! They poked and prodded around my mouth, and mommy seemed so worried. Then they gave me a shot and mommy left.
When she came back, they'd removed the scary lumps that were on my gums. My face is still a little swollen and my mouth is kind of bleeding. I think my paws are sore too from having my nails clipped. Mommy just gave me a pain pill though, so I should be feelin' better again real soon.
