Wow! I have forgotten how to do this...

Has it really been that long since I've posted? Dude, not cool. Mom has been hogging the computer so she can work on school stuff. But this summer I spent a lot of time at my grandparents so Mom could travel to weird places like Scotland, London and Paris. Since she's been home, we've been two peas in a pod. I follow her wherever she goes.

I love going to Starbucks with Mom. We go through the drive thru, though I think I can be good enough to enjoy the porch. But I don't mind since the folks at Starbucks and give me treats...YUMMY! I try to sneak a sip of Mom's frap-I can't say it-o, but I wasn't sneaky enough.

Mom is back at school, but I have proven to be a "big" girl and have free range of the house...no more crate for me. So far I have been a good girl.

Doorbell...gotta see who it is...

A bee? Why a bee?

Mom came back from the store earlier this evening. She pulled out one of the bags and out came a yellow/black striped bee-outfit. She wanted me to be a bee for Halloween. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Plus she wants to post pictures. I have over a month to hide the bee outfit and maybe she'll forget about it.

Off to bed...I'm tuckered out.

Dog Tired...that's what I am!

Well Mom, Poopaw and Mamaw, and I just got back from Ohio. It was a fun, yet exhausting trip. I love riding in the SUV up. I could stand with my front legs on the console and my back legs on the back seat and get the best of the A/C. Poopaw's SUV has A/C vents in the back off of the console, so I got air in my face and my belly...ahh. It was weird having Mom sit next to me, but I enjoyed our snuggle time. We arrived to Poopaw's mom's house, she is always the friendliest to me. So we split our time there and with Mamaw's parent's farm. I am still not sure about those cows, but I am sure about Mamaw's parent's dog, Bo-Bo. I don't like him. He kept sniffing me and aggrevating me the entire time I was there. Plus he wouldn't share any of his toys with me. Hmmmph! Overall I am not going to complain. I got much loving from everyone, once I got use to so many people. And Mom kept sneaking me really good food (pot roast, hamburger, meatloaf, and chicken tenders). What can I say I am one spoiled pup! It was great to get back to Poopaw Mamaw's house because Miss Daisy was there waiting to play with me. Poopaw says Miss Daisy and I are like "two peas in a pod." Well I am off, Mom is sneaking upstairs...I wonder if I can get a treat from her...LOL!

I can't believe Mom did that!!!

Well last week was a roller coaster for Mom and me. Mom had to take a really big test last Wednesday. She was nervous about it, but told me she thinks she did fine on it. Then shortly after she got home, we got a call from one of Mom's friends. She said it was an emergency, but she would have to board me for a few days. I looked at her in confusion as she hurriedly gathered stuff to throw in a bag, thinking that I would be able to go on a road trip. So I happily jumped in the car and much to my surprise, I was at the vet to be boarded. I was nervous, but I was a big girl. I was well behaved and didn't give the folks doing the boarding any trouble. But I will admit I was relieved to see Mom when she picked me up. It's nice to be home.

Christmas relived

I had a blast this past Christmas...if you couldn't tell from my new photos. Mom and I went to Grandma and Poo-paw's house. It was fun. Aunt Joy brought over Daisy and we played until we couldn't play anymore.

Mom got me oodles of toys for Christmas: balls, a stuffed hippo, a new frog, a rope toy, and treats. I was spoiled rotten. Though I will admit I had more fun playing in the wrapping paper and tinsel than my toys for a bit. Mom even got me a new crate, even despite my protests...but it is nicer than my old one...doesn't mean I have to "like it."

Mom is back at work, so that means I am spending more time in the new crate. I personally would enjoy chasing the squirrels in the yard. Why do they drive me so crazy? Maybe it is because they can run up some silly tree and I can't. Oh well...

Gotta go...Mom is in the kitchen...yummmmm

Only a week to go...

Well it's only a week away and I can't wait! Mom will be home for a couple weeks because school's out. We are heading to Grandma and Poo-paw's for a few days...yippie I get to play with Daisy. Plus there will be tons of toys to play with...plus I really enjoy ripping up gift wrap and tissue paper and someone tell me what is up with all those bows?!?!?

I sure hope it snows...just a wee bit. It would be nice to play in and try to catch it as it falls. Maybe if it is enough, I could roll around and make snow angel-pups. That would be fun!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Christmas pictures

Okay Mom was like "you want a treat?" Of course I'm going to say "YES!" Little did I know that it would involve wearing a silly scarf and sitting near the Christmas tree, while she took dozens of pictures. At least it is better than last year, in which she made me wear this silly sweater...did I mention it had a tree with blinking lights on it...and reindeer antlers.

Mom and I have been doing Christmas decorations around the house. I helped with the tree...okay, I just laid there, but I was very insightful. I helped put decorations on the entertainment center. Okay, I kept trying to give Mom my kong to throw. And I supervised her putting the lights around the front door..."barking" my instructions to her.

Only 21 more days until Christmas. I wonder what Santa's going to get me. I know when we visit Grandma and Poo-paw, I will get to go to PetSmart. I have asked Santa for rawhide treats, sneaky toys, a new kong and a soccer ball. I've tried being good, but gosh dang it, it's hard when there are squirrels outside or if the neighbor's dog wanders into our yard. All I know is I've tried...plus I'm CUTE! Who could say "no" to a face like mine? Well gotta run, Mom is in the kitchen...I must go and see if I can't sneak something off the countertop.

Yummy...turkey!!!

Well Mom and I hosted Thanksgiving at our place this year. So that meant Grandma, Poo-paw, Auntie Joy and Daisy came to our house. It was fun. Daisy and I played from the time we got up to the time we went to bed. Plus I tried looking especially cute during Thanksgiving dinner...and Daisy did too. We made out like bandits with all the turkey. It was YUMMY! Today Mom put up our Christmas tree. I love it. I know I will spend plenty of time sitting in my favorite spot in the living room looking at the tree. I hate to make this short, but Daisy wants to play and who am I to say no. Until next time...

Well last night Mom made me MAD!!!! She had some of her co-workers over and they talked and ate and where was I? She locked me up in my crate in her room. Mom said one of her co-workers was afraid of dogs. But I don't care...I wanted to play too. Not fair. Not fair at all. What's there to be afraid of? I'm cute and friendly...not a scary pup. Oh well. Mom made it up to me though today. She was making some chicken salad and she kept slipping me some chicken...YUMMY!!!!!! I was one happy pup.

Mom told me for Thanksgiving Poo-paw, Grandma, Auntie Joy and Miss Daisy are coming over HERE! Yeah, I don't have to go anywhere. I like my own bed and yard. And with Miss Daisy here, we can play and play and play and play until we can't play any more. Did I mention we can play?!?!? Plus Poo-paw gives the BEST BELLY RUBS any pup can ask for!!! Well I gotta go, Mom is heading toward the kitchen and I am hoping for more CHICKEN!!!

And they called it puppy love....

Gosh, I think I'm in love. I don't know his name, but Mom calls him "Little Guy." He's younger than me and lives next door. He's BIGGER than me! Mom thinks he's a mix of German Shepherd and Lab, but I call him "dreamy." I sit by the door and look out the window to catch a glimpse of him. I go from window to window when I do see him to keep him in my sight. I've even noticed he watches from his yard when I'm out. He'll walk to the edge of the property and sit. This morning he didn't see me, but saw Mom. So he was on his way over to say hi to Mom and I pounced him. Mom wouldn't let us play a bunch because she was cold. I can't wait for our next encounter.

Okay, Mom tried to get me into a costume this evening. She wasn't very successful...LOL. Though I do have a "Bad to the Bone" scarf on with doggie skeletons and pumpkins. I'm not a big fan of it, but it's better than the witch hat she tried to get on me. Well gotta go...Mom's fixing something in the kitchen...YUMMY!
