"make the face (see photo)", "shake hands" and "surprise crotch blast" (think "high five" or "forearm bash"...but he's a dog).
Arrival Story:
a very sweet friend who already has many dogs rescued pete as a pup on the side of the highway; he was shot full of holes, malnurished and abused. after treatment she presented me with him and i could not say no (he looked like a baby cow with giraff legs). pete and i work on our social skills daily; there is still much work to be done(one brick at a time).
about "the face": that's his fraidy dog face. he's bluffing and makes it on command("bad dog" or "vet"). he doesn't bark and he shifts his eyes as if somebody farted and he's too timid to say anything. there is NO MISTAKING him when he's angry; his pitbull jaws snap and this awesome "shark fin" rises up his back! when he naps his body twitches and he lets out little yelps, while dreaming. at first i was concerned about nightmares but now i prefer to think he's having epic doggie dreams where he's "king of the world" , so i don't disburb him. it's kinda funny:)
