Arrival Story:
My current partner Jan heard about a doxie that needed rescuing. The dog lived in a 2 bedroom apt with a family that had 5 kids 7 & under. They used to throw her out at night & she bothered the neighbors so it was she went or the family did. My partner Joan [now deceased] had wanted a doxie & so we gifted it to her. She was delighed with Dixe & Dixie loved her.
