Buddy has bad hips, so his days of long pleasure walks are over.. but he used to love to run on the beach.

He can play dead and not come back to life till he hears the magic word, know the difference betweeen right paw and left paw, can back up on command, hold a bisquit on his nose

Arrival Story:
We adopted Buddy from our local shelter. We went to see another dog, who ended up being adopted before we got there, and this gentle giant caught my eye. He was so calm, in a frenzy of other dogs, and he had the most soulful brown eyes. He had been at the shelter for a few months.. the family that had him before had to let him go because they moved from a big house to a small apartment... but I knew once he laid his gentle head on my lap he wouldn't stay any longer than it took to complete the paperwork.

Bio:
Buddy is the protector of our family.. he loves people, but the Rottie in him causes him to always be on the alert. He does use his size and bark to scare people.. but to him it is a game *LOL* If he thinks he can intimidate you, he will... but once you win him over, he is your friend for life.
