Birthday: March 3rd 2004 Likes: Chasing Squirrels (caught 2 so far), Running in the woods, and cuddling with grandpa. Pet-Peeves: Not getting 24/7 attention! Favorite Toy: Charlie the Chipmunk or sammie the squirrel... both squeeky toys! SQUEEK!!! SQUEEK!!! SQUEEK!!! Favorite Food: Nutro lamb and rice, small bits. and anything grandpa gives me! Favorite Walk: Through Robinson State Park, he dominates the field, and the "beach" area. Best Tricks: He walks on his hind legs, and inbetween steps twirls like a ballarina, although he is not one! Also, if you tell him to get "Charlie" or "sammie" he goes and gets them... Pretty smart, aye? Arrival Story: Jake stole my heart the very first moment I saw him. It was love at first LICK! I brought him home that day, and have been madly in love ever since. ENTERTAINED too!!! Bio: Jake is not your typical crazy Jack. Jake is extremely calm, however the one charateristic he does have thats Jack, he's really smart. He knows so many commands, and on top of that, he "horns" in on key words too. Like "treats!", "greenie", "walk", "park", "mama", and so many more. I can't even say any of them without him whining for the next 20 minutes.
Jake is the most loving and devoted dog I know. There is not a stranger in the neighborhood to him, he loves everyone he meets, and vice versa I'm sure.
My life has changed dramatically since Jake came into it. I couldn't ask for a better companion and best friend. Forums Motto: The one and ONLY! The Groups I'm In: 'Just Jacks', *JRTerrors*, All "JACK"ed up!, I want my DTV (DT = Dog Videos), JRT Dawgs, The Dogster Force
OH MY GOD, today I caught my first squirrel. I was so excited, and dad was too, but mom was sad. She cried. I feel bad, but "HEY, I CAUGHT MY FIRST SQUIRREL!!!" Dad says he was so proud, and said there are many more squirrels to catch. Woo-Hoo!!!
After I finally caught one, I ran all around the woods looking for more, but I think my reflexes were a little slow, since the Squirrels usually saw me before I saw them. Oh well, I still caught one. I was so into searching for squirrels, I wouldn't even take a treat from mom, which so happens to be one of my favorite treats, CHICKEN BREAST... mmm hmmm... I could sure use some of that now. Let me go see if I can get any... I'll bark more later...
Gotta get chicken
Gotta catch a squirrel
Bark On!!!
Well Well Well. It seems that I'm just one featured boy. I'm featured for the Doggy Diary today, and even better (no offense) I have been featured in the local newspaper. Yeah, it's so great, mom went out and got 20 copies. The picture is of me in my Irish top hat, at the local St. Patricks Day parade. I am the HAMMIEST BOY ever!!!
OMG, mom said we're MOVING. I don't think it's going to be too far, but a new house... How exciting!!! New smells, new neighbors, new yard... Woo-Hoo! Oh yeah, and there is a JACK friend who lives 2 houses down. I'm so excited... I've met this Jack friend already, he is SOOO nice... We Played for a little bit...
BUT the BEST part about the new house is it's 2 houses down from the biggest and best park in the city!!! It's HUGE!!! We'll walk everyday... I get to run off lease... I'm so excited...
Oh boy Oh boy.... right next to the park... OH BOY!!!
