Hot hot summer

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Got to help Daddy mow the yard today and found a few kitties from the nextdor neighbors house to chase! Murphy's over for awhile and I'm having a blast barking at squirrels in the window and play-fighting with him. The other day my daddy let me out and I walked down the hill by myself and ran into Sophia. Grr! Shes always trying to take my place as Alpha when I'm not around. Doesnt matter though! The dogs in this neighborhood have been my pals for many years and know that she cant ever take my place, they wont let her!! My bestpal is Tori, shes another golden.. Although shes gotten into those years and her golden has turned a pretty red color. I think shes a mix breed so that may be why I'm not turning red! Anyone know any types of dogs who turn red in old age?? Oh well. I'm off to take my nap!!!!
