Millie is a canine garbage can. She will eat anything I give her, but she loves carrots, brussel sprouts, and apple.

Favorite Walk:
We have a large fenced front yard, they play and soak up the rays whenever they want.

Arrival Story:
We lost our male Doberman, Alex, just before Christmas 2001, and we kicked around the idea of getting another pound puppy and I began searching the internet for a Retrever/mix of some kind. I found a rescue site that specilized in Retrevers and on it were a litter of Doberman puppies! Millie and her brother were the only two left and after filling in a long adoption form and meeting all the requirements, we were allowed to adopt Millie. She's a little shy, but comes alive when she on 'guard duty' in the front yard.

Bio:
Millie was one in a litter of pups that a good samaritian rescued from an unsavory owner trying to sell the pups outside a department store in over 100 degree weather. The pups were then taken in by BARC a Retriever Rescue group in Temecula, California. They placed all the pups and have their own great site with all their sucess stories.
