Arrival Story:
I walked into Petco to pick up cat food. I noticed that the local pound was having a "Last Chance Adoption". (All animals due to be PTS that day are brought if not adopted then they are PTS at return to the shelter)I went in to see if they had any cats/kittens as my husband had just lost his childhood cat to old age. On the far end on the top they had a litter of kittens. I walked over to take a peek. Out of the corner of my eye I see these hudge brown eyes looking at me. I glanced down...here was this pup..dirty and smelly and wiggling as much as he could. I checked the card. "Border Collie Cross Female" the card said. I asked to see him out of the cage..the very first thing I noticed was that she was in fact a he and was in dire need of a bath. I took a big chance and brought him home. It was afterall Love at first sight.

Bio:
In 2005, Chance suffered a stroke which started a downhill trend in his mental capacity. March 20th, 2006, I made the hardest desion of my life as I sent Chance to the rainbow bridge. He will be sadly missed..RIP Chance..Momma will always love you.
