Trixie and Beau came together when their person got sick and no one would take care of them and they ended up in the pound. The rescue got them out and needed a foster home for them. So here they were. When we lost Beau, I thought it might be a real blow to Trixie,,, but she kept right on cruising! Then she had problems with her back legs, so we got a "wheelie" for her and by using food for "bait", she learned to travel pretty darn fast! Eventually, age and health issues caught up with her,,, and we had to say goodbye to our little Trixie too. I'm sure she and Beau are at the Bridge, together again....
Bio:
Trixie is a darling little curmudgeon that reminds us of an Ewok!!! She loves food and will take her life in her own hands to try and keep it from the bigger contenders around here. They (so far) are so amazed at the audacity that they just back off and leave!!
