Arrival Story:
How lucky we were to get little Odie! He was named after Garfield's Odie as it was our children's favorite cartoon character. Our daughter was having a sleep over and when we took one little girl home, her daddy said,"hey, come on in the back and let me show you something." There were several little puppies in the back along with their Mommy. We took one look at Odie and that was it! He was a wonderful dog. He was so good with children and adults alike. He only barked when the garbage truck came twice a week. He was so dear and the children loved him so much as did I. After my husband died, I sadly lost Odie too. It was horrible to have both kids now out of the house, being a widow and then to lose our Odie in one year. He remains in our hearts forever. For a few years I though I would never be able to get another dog for Odie was the best. Thennnn, along came our Crissy Edweena which healed the heartache of the loss. Odie will never be forgotten for he was one of a kind. He had no bad habits and was such a joy. Now we have little Crissy Edweena who, perhaps, Odie sent to make our hearts whole again. We love you, Odie Oscar! We miss you!! Thank you for all of the wonderful years!!!
