Arrival Story:
After the loss of our beloved CeeJay we were terribly lonesome and found out about a group locally that rescues dogs. They had two rat terriers and we fell in love with Tex at first sight. He was abused and getting him to accept that people can love a dog without hurting them was a trip that took about a year and some doggie prozac and a whole bunch of love. Two years later and no doggie prozac he is a semi-adjusted, almost normal dog. Alot fewer issues than he had when he came to us.

Bio:
Tex and his momma were kept in cages for the first six months of his life. He had a hard time learning to walk on the ground once he was free of the cage.

Happy Anniversary to me

I have been here two years with my sisters and it is almost three years. So far so good. Even though I occasionally loose my cool and spend a week or two acting like I just arrived, but the sisters love me and we have managed to work through the rough times.

I occasionlly show them who is boss by leaving them little presents of the bodily function nature and they get upset but they clean it up. I poop they clean what more can a doggie want.

Oh they were so kind they bought be a new bed, a sofa to be exact. They cover it with a sheet that they remove and wash weekly and it is wonderful to be curled up on a clean sheet on a nice sofa and when I am asleep on it they do not try to sit on it. Ahhhh Heaven.
