Arrival Story:
I was heartbroken after the sudden death of my Amber, a very kind and faithful yellow lab. The house echoed, it was soooo empty. I called on an old ad in the paper published 4 weeks previously that caught my eye. The ad read, "basset-bloodhound mix pups". Hmmmmmm I had always wanted a houndie. This pup would be nothing like a lab (I knew Amber was irreplaceable)... Well, I found out all the pups had gone to their new homes, but oddly enough, one pup had been returned the previous day as the new owner was allergic to her. Yes!! This was my lucky day!!! I actually believe that she was just MEANT FOR ME. Just seeing that beautiful doggie-face, it was love at first sight.

Now, the daily mischief, thievery, and oh-so silly antics have brought a new joy into life... Every day I enjoy BIG houndie

following is a list of some of the items Luna Bear has partially/totally consumed in her first year of life: 1 cell phone, 1 (VERY VERY important) bill from the IRS, at least 1 of each of my pairs of shoes, 3 beautiful, expensive (and very large) books, 1 couch, 1 loveseat, ALL of the newly planted spring flowers, 3 pairs of sunglasses, 1 paycheck, 2 tv remote controls, etc. etc...and, of course, the EMPTY SPOT left in my heart by Amber ATB.

Hello Eberyone!
Yup it's true---I am back in San Diego now since May, after a very long and cold winter and spring in Montana.
We took good care of the human Grandma ober there but am happy to be here now---where the sun ALWAYS shines on me and I can enjoy my sun baths every day!

Hello Eberyone!
It's me, dat rascal Luna Bear, and I yam habing my 4th Birthday today!!!
I had surgery on Tuesday on my eyes (Follecular Conjunctivitus scraping) and I cannot see too good because ub dat ointment mama has to put in my eyes 3x a day makes eberyfing blurry!
I also had 2 warts removed AND my teeth cleaned.
I yam now eben more barootiful then I was before.
Yup.
"Luna Bear... yew are Moobie Star material" she says to me...an I fink dat might be twue!
(If yew could only see me smile...hehehe)
Whoohooo and dah ti dah,... it's my BIRFDAY!!!
