Lazy Morning

Hi Baby

It's been over a month now. I miss you, Sweatheart, and regret the decision I had to fix your knee. If I didn't do that, you'd still be with me and I'm so very sorry. You're brother, Seamus, was very sad. I got a puppy for him and the puppy is doing well. Seamus and him have started to play though Seamus isn't nibbling him the way he did you. He's slowly learning he's in charge now and that is a big step for him. (For those that don't know, Seamus came from a fighting ring and was basically a bait dog from what we understand.) He's happier now learning his new role but he missed you so terribly he had me worried about him. You haven't been in my dreams. The doctors said you looked up before you died and around the room. I feel you were looking for me as you always did to tell me it was alright. I wasn't there for you. I didn't want to leave that night. Something told me not to leave you but I did. I wanted you home and healthy---I hope you know that in some sense. I love you and am so very sorry. I know people think it's just a dog but you meant more to me. You understood me and were my adored little boy. Ethan misses you terribly. He keeps saying Dublin is "Bye bye." He reads his Carl books and talks to you through them. Carl is Dub Dub to him. He tries to climb on Seamus but Seamus won't let him like you did. We all miss you terribly, Baby. You were and are such a special part of my and our families lives. Love you, Dub. Please know I did what I thought was best and I NEVER abandoned you. Love, your mommy.

Decided to sleep....

I had surgery for my knee--it's called a TPLO. Unfortunately, the incision became infected and I had a hard time. I was doing well untill yesterday at around 5 am when I had to go. My mom is very sad. She says she loves me and it's very lonely without her baby. Seamus isn't doing well. Please keep them all in prayer. This has been very difficult on them.

I Hurt My Knee :(

Mommy has a nice boy walk me sometimes. His name is Jose. I love him! He huggs me alot and showed me off to his friends! They said I looked like a bear and was surprised I was so nice!

I saw Jose run Seamus and I looked at them then at mom. I told her I wanted to run also! Just like Seamus did! Mommy let me and then my knee hurt! I started crying and limping. Mommy took me to the vet and they said something about an ACL tear and I needed surgery. Mommy put me on a diet and that helped! My leg is better now and I don't limp anymore! I limped for a long time but it's all better now.

Grandpa got me a Halloween bandana that is black with candy corns on it! It says,"No tricks! All treats!" Mommy tells me I look so handsome in it!! I can't wait to see what costume I get!!!!
