Dear Diary

A new sister!

Hi everyone - I have a new baby sister! My mommy and daddy weren't sure I would like her but I really, really do! Her name is Marley and she's not as cute as I am but she's spunky and likes to run, just like me! We chase each other around the yard until she decides that it's naptime and falls to the ground immediately sleeping. She has sharp little razor teeth so I sometimes have to tell her to be nice and she listens. She better not even think about stealing my place in bed.

Wolf?!

The other night I went out for my middle of the night potty and I smelled another dog. I started barking (yes, IGs bark!) to let the entire neighborhood know that they should be on the lookout. We certainly don't want any strange dogs sneaking up on us. This barking brought my daddy out for a look - apparently, it's "NOT OK" to bark in the middle of the night even if you think there might be a dog sneaking up on you.

Well, this was no ordinary dog because my daddy started yelling at him and he's usually very friendly to other dogs. I tried to tell him that it's "NOT OK" to yell in the middle of the night but he didn't listen. The "dog" ran away and I heard him telling my mommy the next morning that there was a Timber Wolf in our yard. Good thing we have a fence around our yard. I hope he doesn't come back, I've heard some terrible stories about wolves killing dogs in my area. But then again, I'm pretty skinny. I can't imagine a wolf would want to eat me.
