 Quick Bio:
| -mutt | -pound dog | -dog rescue | |
Likes: Going to Aunt Barb and Uncle Bill's house on 5 acres and a swimming pond! Playing/cuddling with Kiera, Bye-Bye Car, Playing Fetch and Butt-Scratches

Pet-Peeves: Being confined when Daddies go to work (because he is still Destructo-puppy) Getting scolded for digging and being told NO noses on the table!

Favorite Toy: Frozen Kong stuffed with treats and peanut-butter, Ripping apart thick ropes, and any toy that Kiera has at the moment.

Favorite Food: Whatever the Daddies are eating, hence the peeve "No noses on the table!"

Favorite Walk: Anywhere! Let's just GO!

Best Tricks: On command he will walk up and sit in front of me, then stand, walk around behind me to my left hand side and sit. He knows many commands from basic training at Taylor's PetSmart...RECOMMENDED!

Arrival Story: We wanted a second dog and a companion for Kiera. So I found myself back on Petfinders looking at black labs. When I came across "Billy" (now Buddy) and read his bio, I just had to adopt him and spoil him for the rest of his life! I've never owned a lab before or experienced such loyalty and companionship. He is ALWAYS by my side and even right now, nudging my arm for attention.

Bio: When Buddy was a couple months old, he fell into the hands of a dog-fighting ring and was used as bait. When the MHS rescued him, the side of his face was ripped up and he was in very bad shape. He only survived because the attacking dogs were not mature, but I don't think the other "bait puppies" (possibly siblings) survived. Even now I can't think of it without tears in my eyes. However, the MHS was able to nurse him back to health and he was then in a wonderful foster home for a month until we found him on Petfinders. Thankfully he seems to have no memory of these terrifying attacks and he has completely healed both physically and mentally into a very handsome boy. One of my favorite Buddy moments was seeing his excitement when his Foster Mom and son came over to visit him in his new home!

Forums Motto: It's the Booooooo-Guy!
