Arrival Story:
Sophie was from a litter of 11. Her mom, Ebony, had mastitis so the breeder hand fed all the pups until they were old enough to leave home. We picked her out at 4 weeks, and took her home at 10 weeks. She cried the 1st night we had her, and then got happier and happier.
Bio:
Sophie was the very best dog in the history of the world. She went to school for 2 years, became a canine good citizen, finished agility training, and took care of her "Uncle Buck", the lab that raised her. She loved everyone in her family and protected us in a couple of bad situations.She adored Rufus, her Great Pry, that didn't mind if she chewed on his neck. She was a constant joy, her little stub of a tail would wag furiously, and she would almost turn herself inside out. She was a very happy and well loved dog her whole life. She developed osteosarcoma and left us the day after her 10th birthday. If only we could have her back for a while! We are expecting to be reunited with her at the rainbow bridge.
