Food !!!!! Bath time and being groomed (he loves being combed everyday) the sound of doorbells drives him wild, Hiking, Running, boat trips, playing rough, going out, visitors, Auntie Katherine and Uncle Howie (who has since gone to NY)

Doesn't like his paws being touched; hates short walks !!!!

He doesn't play with toys, he thinks he is human

Everything !!!!!!!! (but he is banned from eating human food except occasional treat of peanut butter and fruits - he loves strawberries and apples)

Favorite Walk:
Hiking up to the peak in Hong Kong once every weekend and walking/running along Sandy Bay every Sundays

Arrival Story:
Rusty was rescued from a local pound in Hong Kong about a year ago. We were looking out for a pom and came across his photo in their webpage. We visited him once just to check him out. Took 2 days to consider after that and decided to adopt him. Initially he was very aggressive and kept trying to bite everyone. His favourite hiding place was under the dining table. But now, after a year, he has mellowed down so much and is very settled in his new home..... although he does get naughty once in a while !!!! A very high maintenance pooch...the moment we adopted him, he had to have 2 operations, stayed in hospital twice, had a bad reaction to an allergy on the skin and a bad fall which torn his ligament. The good thing is, he is all healthy and strong now....and he is our little cheerio :)

Bio:
Currently, he weighs about 15 pounds and has a nice healthy sheen on his fur. For a toy dog, he is actually very energetic, he can hike/run uphill for over an hour and not feel tired. He knows how to respond to "sit, shake hands (or paws for that matter) down and rollover"...can be very stubborn at times. We have that suspicion that he is a human trapped in a dog's body !!! And he loves being around people....he is such a people's pooch. Gets extremely jealous when he sees us petting other dogs, he will bark his head off !!!!! Eventually, he will be taking the plane and going back to Singapore with his owners.
