Favorite Food:
Anything I'm eating......she eats Purina Fit N Trim, but loves almost anything. Pizza. Spaghetti. Frozen Yogurt. Yogurt. Popcorn. Tortilla Chips. And of course, the miraculous Chicken McNugget!

Around the block or up to Oak Hill Park (Lotsa good sniffin' there)

Best Tricks:
Will sit if you say it enough. Mostly her best trick is being "Queen of All She Surveys"

Arrival Story:
I inherited Ebony from my friend Betty (whom I inherited from my Mom). When Betty passed away, her family was going to put her down if they couldn't find anyone to take her. My heart wouldn't let them - so she moved in with me in March of 2005. She's an old lady, and I know lots about old ladies, being well on the way to becoming one myself! The transition has been seemless, and she has taken over my heart. How did I ever live without her?!

Bio:
It was good that I knew Ebby before she came to live with me as I knew all of her habits and, shall we say idiosyncracies beforehand. Unfortunately, she was about 40 pounds overweight when she came to live with me (My friend Betty was older and couldn't walk her) - so the poor thing has had to be on a diet. But she's lost 35 of those pounds and is like a new dog! I've created a monster!!!!!!!

Forums Motto:
Can I eat that?!

Darling Ebby, two years ago today you came to live with me at the little yellow house? Do you remember? I remember when your Aunt Kaffy and I came up to your old house to get you. You were down in the basement and looked so confused. But then you strolled down the street with us and walked into the little yellow house and became the Queen! I remember how you cried that night because you missed Betty. But then you snuggled with me and everything was ok. Thank you so much for coming into my life, sweetie girl! I hope you're having fun at the Bridge. Buddy, Kathy and I miss you terribly and talk about you all the time! Give a kiss to everyone up there for us. xxoo

Dear Ebby - it was one year ago today we let you go to the Bridge. What a sad day for us - but I know it was the best thing for you. You are happy now - and running all over without a care! I know you're with Betty, and now have Leonard to bark at too! That thought makes me smile. Thank you for the time we had together, and thank you for sending Buddy my way. I love him with all my heart - but not the same way I loved you. You were the first!! I miss my pretty girl, but am so grateful for the few months we had together. Until we meet again.......

Well, Sweet Ebby. It was one year ago today that we moved out of Aunt Kathy's and into our own apartment. You were so patient with all the hoopla and all the boxes. How would I have ever done it without you? Can I tell you a secret? I was scared to death that day....but all I had to do was put my hand on your soft, silky fur and I knew it would all be okay. Thank you for that! Thanks for keeping an eye on me from the Bridge! I miss you so much. You were my sweetie.
