I MISS YOU

Anniversary

July 8 is one year since we lost you, Harvey. You were
so much a part of our lives, that I still think of you every
day. It still hurts when I think that I lost you way too
soon. You were only 10yrs old!
I feel that you are still with us and I laugh when I think
of the crazy and sometimes annoying things you used to
do, just to get out attention!
I miss you ...my potamus..
One day we will be together again.

VACATION

I've been volunteering at PAWS and Animal Welfare League
for the last few months. There was a Yellow Lab named Kristy
at PAWS last week. I wanted to walk her-and I did. She had
the same coloring as you did. But you were much more
handsome. She let me hug her and I cried just a little cuz
she reminded me of you. No one can ever replace you, Harvey.
When we lost you, I vowed I'd never have another yellow
lab because I'd always compare them to you.

I really wish you were here then you'd be going on vacation
to Tennessee with us. We found an awesome chalet in
Gatlinburg thats Dog Friendly. You would have loved
it. I know that you will be with us in spirit, just like you
are every day.

I hope you are having fun at the Rainbow Bridge. I know that
I will see you someday.

Rose

You'll be happy to know that we adopted Rose. It was funny how we'd always say that she was your girfriend. She really loved you and I remember how she loved cuddling by you. You still showed her who was boss...when she became annoying. Well, now she's annoying Inky. And poor Inky is not feeling to hot lately, she's been on steroids. She has arthritic lesions on her spine. She's not walking as well as she used too. But she still is able to get up on the bed that you both shared. Rose is getting used to all of us and is very cute. I have to get her website going this week. I 'm just waiting for the pics to be developed.
