Arrival Story:
Before I came along my human Mom was living in Indiana and had been looking for a female Rhodesian pup. She had hooked up with another breeder before finding my dog Mama's family, but their dog ended up not having a litter at all after a couple of failed artificial insemination attempts. Eventually, my human Mom connected with my dog Mama's family, but they loved my Mama very much and were very particular about potential adoptive families. After a lengthy interview process, my human Mom was approved, but my brother's and sisters weren't born yet, so everyone anxiously awaited our birth to see if any puppies would match up to the available adoptive families. I was a perfect match for my human Mom, who was just looking for a pup to spoil. I have a unique ridge pattern, which prevents me from pursuing a career as a show dog, so a life of liesure sounded just great. After seven long weeks of waiting for me to be old enough to leave my dog Mama, Sunny, I was finally able to go home with my new family.

Bio:
I was born in Lexington KY. to Champion parents "Sunny" and "Rerun." When I was a very young pup, I mistakingly found my brother's weiner instead of my Mama's teet, my Mama's human family was wildly amused by this since I was born admist the Monica Lewinsky/Clinton scandal. As a result, I was nick- named "Monica."
