We had to return a dog that just was to much for the family. I was to little and we didn't have this dog long enough to remember him but if I find a pic I'll make him a dogster page ;). So my parents searched the paper and saw an add for Lab puppies. They picked Blacky the more quiter one of his litter. A week later when my mom took him to the vet for his shots they said he had pit mixed in him as well as lab! Needless to say my parents weren't to happy.
Bio:
We had to have him pts after he bit my friend(she started it) but he wasn't acting like his normal self so we knew he was sick and put him down. Mamma loves you baby.

Although I've always loved dogs, Blacky was the dog who started my love for big dogs. He protected me many times when he was alive and I will never forget two times when he went into protective mode. One time was when he was outside at night and some guys came upto our boat and he barked and growled at them and they ran off. Another time was when my mom went inside for a minute and then a dog ran into our yard and Blacky jumped between me and the dog and growled at him as he were saying "hey she's MY girl back off!" Unfortunatly he died of what we think were effects of bad breeding that didn't show until years later. He is my reason for promoting responsible breeding and spay/neutur. Just because I lost my baby to bad breeding effects doesn't mean others have to suffer the same loss I did. Also he is my reason for loving and defending "bully" breeds!

Mom was watching Maury today and they had a little girl and her dog on the show with her parents. The little girl was playing in her backyard when 2 Pitts climbed under the fence and got to her. Her dog a Golden Ret. came to her rescue and jumped between her and the dogs and gave her enough time to get into the house. The child had gotten serious bite wounds to her face. She got some bites around her eyes(swollen in hospital photo). Her dog is named Oshkosh. I LOVE Pitts but sometimes I think people think that Pitts will NEVER bite but other dogs WILL bite.
