Arrival Story:
She is the daughter of Hollibee (half german shepard half malamute) and Mica (purebred white german shepard) and the sister of Sammy. She looks just like her mother except has more of the german shepard structure. When her mother died, due to her kidney tubes being cut instead of her ovary tubes, we decided that Sammy shouldn't be alone so Niya was the pick of the litter. She has one of the most energetic personalities I have ever seen. she will run up to you at full speed then jump into your arms. And boy does she think she's a lap dog. I don't think she realizes that she is huge!!!! One time when my nephew's, mom, and I were eating luch outside on the porch, she decided she had to sit at the table as well. So she climbed up onto the bench, sat down, and tried to help herself to the food!!!

Today was a very sad day for me. I was wondering around trying to figure out what kind of trouble I could get into today when my brother, Sammy, decided to run in front of our master's truck and didn't make it. I didn't know what to think at first. I thought he was okay, but he didn't get up. I don't know what I'm going to do. We've spent almost 10 years of our lives together and we were never apart. I will remember all the good times we had chasing the horses and running around with the neighborhood dog pack hunting for our snacks. All those times our mistress took us up to the lake and tried to get Sammy in the water so he could learn to swim. Those were the days. I know he'll be okay because he is with mommy, Hollibee, and daddy, Mica, who are already in heaven waiting for us. Well now they wont be lonely cuz Sammy's with them now.
My brother, I will miss you terribly and I know our mistress will too.
We Love You, Sammy!
