he had been hit by a car and taken to the vet by a dog catcher -- she did the surgery and was going to keep him as a kennel pet because he was so neat -- we rescued him -- when i drove up to the hospital -- my wife was sitting in the grass with fenway in her lap -- i knew it was a done deal -- he loves his mommy

he is wrigley's 'brother' (see wrigley in jonesborough, tn) -- they have been the best of friends from the minute they met --
