Zo-Zo, Padiddle, Doodle Dog

Doggie Dynamics:

Quick Bio:

August 25th 1995

I liked to eat, especially treats! When I was young, I liked to chase my cat siblings around the house, and to do my job guarding the house from strangers. I liked tummy rubs, and sleeping under the blankets.

I hated cold weather. Since my job was to guard us, I didin't like strangers. At all. I bit their pants legs if they tryied to come in. That was my job. I didn't like thunder, fireworks, trash collectors, or when the cats ganged up on me.

Favorite Toy:
My purple talking ball was best--it meows like a cat and says "here, kitty, kitty". Loud. I also liked Mr.Reindeer even though I tore off one of his arms.

Favorite Food:
I loved food. All food was good food. When I was young, I ate rocks and dirt and bugs and baby possums. When I got old, I ate cheerios and Bill Jac treats and any people food that fell on the floor.

Favorite Walk:
I mostly liked to walk around the yard.

Best Tricks:
I could sit! Mostly. I had to take obedience class twice and still didn't really pass. I was sweet and strong and did my job but I wasn't really very smart. I couldn't help it and I tried my best, but smart's not everything.

Arrival Story:
I was born in a trailer in rural North Carolina; I was eight weeks when Mom came and got me. I'd been living with a woman who got sick and had to bring me back to the trailer and my brothers and sisters were all gone but another litter was there, younger. Mom chose me! I got a second chance and I'm so glad. I've always been a real happy dog. I got diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2006, but the medicine and love and all the great support from my Dogster friends and my husband Max and everyone helped me do fine for a long while. I was sick on and off but mostly fine until spring 2011...I passed over the Bridge in April.

I could sure jump! At my old kennel they called me "Air Zoe" because I could jump so high and I bumped my head on the crate. I used to jump up and see on top of counters! When I was young I was a real character, just a wild child. When I got older, I settled down though, and learned to beg for a treat rather than steal it!

I crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. My family is sad, and I am watching them with love from here. I can breathe now! No pain. I can jump again! And I see Vinny, and Teddy Bear, and Emma Peel, and Gus and Pookie and Bear and Checkers and so many others! I sure had a wonderful life, and wonderful dear friends here on Dogster. Sending love to my husband, Max, in Missouri, and my brother Bobby in NC, and to all the MPMM sweet doggies.

We just got back from a weekend in Charleston, SC. I was worried to travel but it was fun! We stayed in a bed and breakfast next door to the carriage rides stables, and I got to smell the horses!

I had a great 14th birthday this week! Lots of wonderful greetings and gifties from my Dogster friends---thanks so much, everydoggie! My pawrents came home from vacation to celebrate with me, and my hooman grandma has been spoiling me all week. It's a great life for a little old dog...
