Pet-Peeves: People eating something and telling him he can't have it and too hot weather. Favorite Toy: This nasty neon green squeaky hedgehog he carries everywhere. Favorite Food: Pizza. No question. Favorite Walk: Definitely on the beach... that cool air brings out his playful side and he LOVES the water. Best Tricks: After he does 'down' you can tell him 'over' and he flips on his back so you can rub his belly. Arrival Story: We were driving home from moving my sister in law to Sacramento and my 6 year old son shouted from the backseat "I have to go to the bathroom REALLY BAD!" I cut all the way over to get off the freeway and we had to run into the nearest store where there was an adoption fair. We spotted him and he spotted us and it was all over at that point. Bio: Ok, so "Bumps" isn't part of his official name, but he's so goofy and uncoordinated my son said, "Man, Bailey sure bumps a lot". After that it would be "Oh, Bailey Bumps..." every time he fell down or bumped into something, which is all the time, so it might as well be his name! Seven things about me...
1. I am a bionic dog... I had hip surgery at eight months old to repair hip dysplasia.
2. I think I'm a nurse. That's how we got Freefall... I helped his mom deliver him and cleaned him afterward. We've been inseperable ever since. I also try to clean my furless family's wounds, but they usually don't let me.
3. I have a hopeless case of dumpster diver-itis. As soon as the door closes my head goes in the garbage. I know it's wrong, but I just can't stop!
4. I'm a momma's boy. I follow her everywhere. The door to the bathroom doesn't latch, so I always knock it open on her.
5. I love kids. Grown people I'm not so sure about and sometimes bark at, but I love the little ones.
6. I'm a dog's dog. I love dogs. The only time I leave mom's side is at the dog park.
7. I'm a pizza fanatic. The first day mom and dad got me, they ordered pizza and couldn't believe how excited I got when the pizza guy was there. Ever since then, I at least get a crust... if not my very own slice!
Mom sent in my Flava Flav pic to a radio station over here and I think we actually have a shot at winning this one! The voters have to validate their votes by e-mail and there's only one vote per e-mail, so someone would have to work real hard to fix that one. The prize is a year's supply of dog food, which we really don't need so I think we'd find a rescue that could use it. It's a drop in the bucket for them, but every little bit helps, right?

Dad fixed our fence in the backyard, so I can now spend unlimited time outside! I am out there at every opportunity. I am an addict! Mom accidentally locked me out yesterday because she thought I was inside. Freefall gave it up cuz he was crying and trying to dig a hole under the back door. Mom knew that something was up, cuz he HATES outside! She opened the door and there I was with a big smile on my face! I hope when it gets warmer she puts a pool in there... that would be paradise!
