Arrival Story:
Captain Morgan came into my life at a sad, sad time. I had just lost Cajun, my heartdog, a pretty little brown-eyed BT who had lived with me for 12 years. I wasn't even sure I was ready to have another one yet. Well, I heard about this litter of pups getting ready to be born and my husband said for us to just go look at them. They were 2 days old. I sat down on the floor and noticed this one puppy who kept pawing at my knee. I picked him up and looked at him and noticed that he had this heart shaped spot right in the middle of his chest and the same star mark on the back of his neck as Cajun had. He looked alot like her. I said to the lady that I wanted him because he "picked" me. When it was time for him to come live with us, he was 5 weeks old and 3 lbs. Such a cute little love bug. He would play and play and cuddle and cuddle. He went to work with me every day and soon became friends with all the guys at work. He is spoiled rotten and they are the reason he loves bacon!! He is about to celebrate his 1st birthday and I am so lucky to have him in my life. I think he was sent to me by Cajun because she knew I missed her and needed a friend. I always say that Captain has Cajun's heart on his chest because while Captain was still inside his mommy Cajun crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and I think she stopped by there and picked him out especially for me. He is my best friend and I love him sooooooo much!!

A Letter From Heaven

You wear my heart upon your chest
For all the world to see.
Living life with your puppy zest,
And you love her - just like me.

Take care of her Captain Morgan
With all your doggie might;
I will help you all I can,
I'm the little ball of light.

She knows that I'm here with you
From those pictures that she takes;
It breaks my little heart in two
When she cries for me-it's heartbreak.

I'm right beside you everyday,
I'll show you what to do;
Just love her and run and play
And to her always be true.

Some day we'll all be together
On the Rainbow Bridge in the sky;
I'm your sister up in heaven,
Watching over ya'll from on high.

Love, Cajun
