Likes: Snow, apartment soccer, vacuum biting, going on walkabout with toys or huge sticks, jumping in the air, sleeping in the big bed. Showing off for strangers and "shaking hands" with his mouth. Refereeing dog fights at the dog run. Farting at mom and dad.
Pet-Peeves: He gets VERY excited if you ask him "Do you wanna wear a dress?!?", yet when this is followed by the application of one of his (many) smart articles of clothing, he is horribly disappointed. We don't know what he thinks a "dress" is, but he's into it.
Favorite Toy: The tub with a little water in it; he loves to dig furiously, never getting anywhere! Empty plastic or cardboard jugs/cartons. He would chase and play with them 'til he died if we let him; it's like the St. Vitus dance, but for the love of recyclables.
Favorite Food: Blanket loves food, but he also loves to purge. I think he's afraid that if he gets fat, no one will ask him to the prom.
Favorite Walk: Likes to walk on textured surfaces, give them an investigative scratch, and then pee on them.
Best Tricks: Use of weapons: Blanket regularly whacks Trotskii with a stick. I guess this means he is highly evolved. Also: making sweet sweet love to the camera, wearing pajamas with panache, bellowing like a water buffalo, dancing like Axl Rose, ruling the school.
Arrival Story: One day we (Ron and I) were sitting around musing to ourselves, "You know, life is pretty sweet, but there's definitely something missing."
"If only there were a tiny, cute dog who knew how to dance like Axl Rose, lead singer and visionary behind seminal rock outfit Guns 'N' Roses." That's exactly what I said. Ron was like, "I don't know--personally, I've always been partial to the fancy footwork stylings of Prince," and I was like, "no way dude, Axl rules." Blanket, it seems, agrees with me. He is a bit of a momma's boy, and that's the way I like it. He's my little lumpy buddy sugar bear. Oh god, I'm so queer for my dog.
Bio: A smarty-pants, a freak and a total lover. When he gets his mouth around something that makes him particularly gleeful, he starts rearing and bucking, like a bronco, all over the place. Has to be seen to be believed. Also, Blanket rocks his orange American Apparel t-shirt like nobody's business.
Blanket loves to make international Westie Friends! He is also trying to form a NYC Westie Club. He is an ambitious little monster. Won't you join for crazy good times? *****

Hello there pup pals and pup parents! I have entered a contest to become a model for local clothing chain Brooklyn Industries. If I win, I get to be in a catalog, AND they will design a new t-shirt (I think for humans) with my picture on it!
