Arrival Story:
She was a rescue: From breeders who bred to fight dogs – sold them or just breed them for bate. She was the last of the litter, a hawk picked her up at 7weeks old ,left puncture wounds and tear marks all over her mid section....she was left to her own will to stay alive, the “Breeders” just left her in the yard. // A friend called to let me know that she thought there was a puppy injured in the yard. //We went over to see.. I confronted the “ Breeders” asked if we could take her… they replied -- they were going to "plastic bag" her anyway...they could care less if we took their garbage out!. So we did… months of healing and vet visits.. today she’s healthy and happy and loves to cuddle. ( Oh and those Breeders.. after working with the “ k-9 fighting” Detectives … They were brought up on charges and house seized. Drugs were found also.)

peeves:: Oh, and the dog catcher... they beat her severely .. **because of her breed**. Almost blinded her, broke her K-9 tooth ( had it removed.. ) she was hospitalized for a week.. it took her months to come back out of her shell… [ hubbie parked in a tow zone for a few seconds to run into a clients house and when he came back car was gone.. He had taken our 2 pups for a ride… and what a ride..] She has also survived an advanced stage of PARVO when she was 4 ½ months old , again being hospitalized for a few weeks. ~[ Have to give a big Thank You to our vet Doc. Sellman.. for without his care and concern we would be lost!! ]~ more TRICKS-- The standard commands.. come, stay ,sit ,down, .. and … go, out, no, relax, settle, calm down, cookie, taco, ride, get in the back, McDonald, Taco Bell, rat, bug, bird, give me that, drop it, get it, blanket, ball, bone-bone, chewy, wait, be nice/ play nice, time for dinner, treat, walk, potty, shame on you, pee, pooh-py. where is daddy, daddy's home, window, .. and have some friends names they know.. and other dogs names.. / SPELLED out : out, go, ride, walk, / SOUNDS, not word commands or request.. : to get them to come… psst, psst., psst. to get them to stop: attt, -sharply, to get them to be guarded… I just growl. They also know to come by the sound of chimes if I tickle them a certain way . HAND signals: point in the direction I want them to go… like up the stairs.. or on the bed.. Open palm facing up near head level… means give me what’s in your mouth / drop it… near the paw it means lets shake…. An open palm held flat out in front of me vertically means stop and sit. A pointed hand finger sign ( like the mommy finger) means your not behaving so knock it off and settle . a back ward casual wave of my arm means not now.. go rest I’m busy.
