I had an adventure!

Woof! What fun! The day before yesterday, after the strangers left in their big truck, my humans let me out of the ante-pen into the big pen, and then they took some long hose into the front yard (they said it was the 'dryer vent hose' and they were going to clean it.)

Well, they had not noticed that the side gate to the big pen was open! I sure did, though! I had about fifteen minutes of glorious fun, exploring the big back yard all by myself, there's an old barn back there that reeks deliciously of raccoons and all sorts of things.

Then I heard my humans calling excitedly - "Curly! Rain-girl! Where are you, honey?" and they came into the back yard looking for me. They seemed a bit frantic, I don't know why, I wasn't doing anything except sniffing and exploring. Although I have to admit, had I seen a squirrel, or a rabbit, or a groundhog, I would have gleefully given chase, and I think they were worried about that.
Anyway I made a great game out of running to them - had to run past them a time or two, but then I let them catch me. They lavished me with praise and love, which I adored, of course.

So that was my adventure! It was fun, as I am never allowed off leash since my humans have not trained me to reliably come on command. As big as I am, and since people seem to be afraid of me when they first see me, they don't think it's a good idea for me to run around loose. I can be awfully exuberant and sometimes it frightens people. I would never hurt anybody on purpose, though. I'm just a big Curly love!!!!
