IN LOVING MEMORY FOR MY BIG BROTHER ALEX

McDuff has lost his sight

Hi To All My Doggie Friends,
Just recently I woke up one morning and I could no longer see. It took a few days for my mommy and daddy to realize something was wrong until they gave me a treat and I didnt take it. We went to my vet immediately and then I went to a nice man who checked my eyes. Mommy said he was a doogie doctor for just the eyes. He said he couldn't find anything wrong and has to run more tests next week. So I had blood tests at the vets and they are still trying to find out what happened. I'm getting around my backyard pretty good by smelling things and follwing my brothers. Mommy and daddy say i'm really depressed cause all I want to do is sleep. They keep me moving and talk to me all the time.
Thank god I have them to help me around. I just hope the doctor's can find out why and maybe help me.

UPDATE on McDuff

McDuff 's loss of sight is perminant. We have installed a ramp and new steps for him so it's easier for him to get up and down off the patio. His depression is getting a little better as the weeks go by. He has bad and good days. He was also diagonized with DI to make matters worse. He's trying so hard and we are so proud of him. We know how hard it is for our little baby boy.

IN LOVING MEMORY FOR ALEX WHO PASSED AWAY ON JULY 20, 2005 OF CANCER. HE WAS A VERY SPECIAL FRIEND, TO ALL OF US AND TO HIS BABY BROTHER MCDUFF. HE NEVER GOT MAD AT ANYONE, YOU COULD BRUSH HIM, GIVE HIM A PEDICURE, BATH ANYTHING AND HE NEVER COMPLAINED, LOVED EVERYONE AND HIS FAVORITE THING IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD WAS TO GET EVERY PART OF HIS BODY SCRATCHED, EAT ICE CUBES AND RUN AROUND THE BACK YARD AND PLAY WITH MCDUFF. HE'S LAID TO REST OUTSIDE OUR BEDROOM WINDOW UNDER TALL PINE TREES AND ALL HIS FAVORITE FLOWERS ARE THERE TOO. HE LOVED SMELLING FLOWERS. HE IS GREATLT MISSED BY ALL.
