Likes:
I love chewing on beef tendons, for hours and hours, but that's only if there's no tissue around to shred... or if mom hasn't caught me yet. Also barking my little head off at kids, then playing very nicely with them, if they haven't been scared off.

Pet-Peeves:
When my big cousin Lexi comes tearing at me at full speed! How rude! I also refuse to have my nails cut... a big meanie once cut them so short they all bled. Since then, back off.

Favorite Toy:
A red rag that once upon a time was a stuffed heart. It's so much better now that there's no suffing and it's falling apart. Or, anything I can snag from my big cousins when they aren't watching!

Favorite Food:
Liver Trixie treats, dill-flavored popcorn (I won't touch the plain stuff).

Favorite Walk:
Down the fire road and then right back up! But Mom has to be with me so I can hide behind her legs from those darn cousins!

Arrival Story:
This little girl was being sold for meat at Dongdaemun Market in Seoul, South Korea. I was working in a nearby county and came in specifically to rescue one. Heartbreaking to leave with only one flea-ridden fur ball. There were 7 others with her on top of a cage filled with their excrement. She had the clearest eyes of the females (one less breeding machine) so I picked her, and 20 bucks later, got on the subway with my 4-week old baby in a cardboard box. On February 29th, she got on the plane for a loooong trip to meet her cousins, Lexi and Louise, in Canada!

Bio:
I have no idea what mix of breeds she is. As a young puppy, a lot of people said she looked like a husky or a jindo, but now we usually get shiba inu, papillon, Nova Scotia tolling retriever, and "oh my god, she looks like a fox!" She's a great traveller, and seems to have a "if Mom's here, it must be ok" attitude. Update, December 2004: I'm very sad to report that Jini tried to protect her home from a cougar and didn't survive. This little girl, timid but so protective, didn't think twice about tearing after that big intruder. She's missed by the menagerie, but mostly by her mom. She was with us for such a short time, but will always have an extra special place in our hearts.
