Arrival Story:
Cleo belonged to the mother of a co-worker. When Cleo was 1-1/2 years old, her guardian passed away, and Cleo needed a new home. I'd lost my 14-year-old Lab a few months before, so I took her in. She had led a very sheltered life, and new things bother her. So once I got her home, I let her into the backyard, and it was three days before I got within 10 feet of her again!

Bio:
She was originally found as a 2-month old puppy, and because of her coloration her rescuers thought she was a Doberman. They had her tail docked (she doesn't miss it, but is protective of what she has left) but luckily didn't do the ears.
