Arrival Story:
Skeeter's mommy owned a friend of mine. She was shy, yet friendly and had such a great disposition that I just adored her. When she had puppies I was so excited! Sadly, the first pup got stuck in the birth canal and she had to have an emergency C-Section. They almost lost her and her pups. I begged and begged for one of the pups until I got one. I wish I had taken all the pups home, Skeeter is the only survivor as her siblings all had passed on in their first year due to neglect. Skeeter is the proud owner of a mom & dad, a teen, an adult with learning disabilities & 1 cat. She has her humans trained to pick her up at a whim, feed her on demand & love her unconditionally.

Bio:
Skeeter is the grand-daughter her grandma never had but always wanted!

Fido Fest!

Finally! I was able to go shopping with mom without people asking us to leave or giving us funny looks!

We went to the Flea masters Fido-Fest a few weeks ago and I got to taste a few home made treats (liver balls and cheese muffins.... yummmmm) as well as shop for clothes and meet other doggies that were of all sizes.

Mommy made me get micro-chipped (ouch) but she said it would give her a little peace of mind. I don't know why, I never get to go out without her (but then again, I have escaped a couple of times) so I let her chip me.

Daddy made mommy promise not to buy any fleas though while we were there... good thing too because I would have had to insist that SHE wear them.... won't catch me with those darn things.

One of my kitty siblings would not wake up. His name is Boo and he lived here before I moved in. Mommy says it was just his time to go to heaven. He was 16 years old and loved to "talk" all the time. Everyone called him "sink monster" because he loved to sit on the bathroom sink and yowl until mom or dad turned it on for him to drink from.

He slept most of the time but I will still miss him because I always loved chasing him around the house. Plus his sister, Gizmo, seems sad that he isn't here any more.

Why do dogs have to deal with gray hairs like humans do?
All of a sudden I have white hairs under my chin!

I am NOT old enough for that yet! I think I'll go chase some cats till I feel better. brrrf!
