I just wanted to check in really quick and pass along some sad news -- last Monday my mommy went to the Rainbow Bridge or heaven or wherever it is that humans go when they leave us. Mom had been really sick off and on for the past 2 1/2 years, but we didn't expect this. Me 'n Peach miss her terribly. My sis has to go to work, so we'll be home alone during the day. My sis says we three girls are strong, and we'll be okay 'cause that's what Mom would've wanted, but it's going to be really lonely here for a while.
Hey everyone,
In case you haven't heard, I got a new sister. She's an itty bitty eight week old apricot colored toy poodle. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted a sister or not -- it's kinda fun being an only child, you know. But now, after two whole days, I can say I absolutely love her!!!!! She's the best!!!!!! We do zoomies together and pounce each other and we even eat and sleep together. She's fantastic.
So, I've been pretty good lately. I haven't done a whole lot wrong in a long, long time. My sis was on vacation last week, and we had a ton of fun. Only thing is . . . she kept running out and leaving me home with mom. BORING!!!! She was doing "after Christmas shopping." At least that's what she told me. I think she was just goin' out and having fun without me. :-(
So, I took matters into my own hands. I wanted to explore with her. I waited 'til one day when she came home with lots of bags. As she was putting them down, I hopped over them and headed out the door. OMD! The reaction was worth it! She jumped over the bags and dove out the front door and down the steps to catch me! She grabbed me as she was going down the stairs and pushed me back into the house. It was soooo funny to see! She was really mad at me 'cause she fell down the stairs and skinned her knee and twisted her ankle, but it worth it.
She foiled yet another escape attempt, but this time she paid for it!!!!!
