Arrival Story:
Dixie was found lying in the middle of the street in Los Angeles a few years ago. She had no hair on her due to mange and she had worms. There was a collar on her but she was obviously not taken care of and she was starving.
Bio:
Dixie just began the process of recovering from a major operation. She had a torn ligament in her knee and surgery was the only option. It is going to be a long, long recovery for her and mom. She won't be able to exercise or play for months while the bone is healing. The good news is that once healed, she will be back to preinjury fuction and won't be in any pain. Dixie really wanted to join Dogster especially during this time. She would love some pals right now!!!
