I'm sleeping in mom and dad's bed now. It's comfy...

My Pal Rocco

Today, Dad had a surprise waiting for him as he was leaving for work. Rocco, a puppy from down the street wandered into the garage as Dad was about to get in the car. I'm assuming that Rocco wanted to come say hi to me, but I was already in the house getting ready for my mid-morning nap. Rocco wasn't wearing his collar so Dad thought he might have gotten out without telling his parents he was coming over. So Dad called Rocco over to follow him back to Rocco's house. Good thing Rocco listens well, because he followed Dad all the way back to his house, where his dad was waiting for him. They had been looking for him since he had left! Maybe next time Rocco will tell his parents he wants to come visit me, and we'll both get to play then. =)

I'm 2 now!

Yesterday was my birthday, and I'm 2 years old now!

In the morning, for some reason Mom and Dad woke up early to take me for a walk. I really like taking early walks cuz the kids from the school across the street are getting in at that time, and I get to say hi to all of them. I think they should get up early more often.

Later in the day, Dad took me to Pet Club and Petco to get me treats. =) I like going to the pet stores cuz lots of people like to say hi to me, especially the folks working there. There was one girl at Petco who was about my size who kept coming up to me to give me big hugs. The cashier heard it was my birthday, and gave me treats at the counter too!

When we got home, Mom and Dad gave me a big greenie! Not small like the ones I usually get. I got some peanut butter flavored ice cream too!

Birthdays should happen every day!

Bath day

Grandma and Grandpa came over today to visit! I like it when they come over, because a they are always sure to give me something yummy to eat. =)
I also get to run around and say hi to everyone.

Dad kept vacuuming stuff today. I don't see why he does that, cuz it's so much better around the house with my fuzz everywhere to keep things cozy! And then he picked me up and gave me a bath. I hate those!!! Not the bath itself, but that loud blow dryer. Here I am, up on this tall counter with this loud thing pointed at me. Not fun! And even after all that, I'm still wet. Good thing dad doesn't do that everyday, or else I'd go nuts!
