1. I am queen, ruler of all.
2. I like to herd my canine brothers.

Seizure-free

I've been seizure free since that day! It must have been the stupid toothpaste. Life is good!

here's a theory

My human mom has a theory about my seizures. It is a little wacky, but she's pretty sure it was the doggy toothpaste she used on me. She used C.E.T. enzymatic toothpaste for the first time ever and about an hour later I had my seizure and another minor one later. I showed symptoms of Xylitol toxicity even though it says there is none in there (but there is Xylitol in other products by the same company). Unless it is proven otherwise, that is the accepted cause of my episodes last week. We'll see: no more toothpaste = no more seizures?

uh oh, seizures

I had a couple of seizures on Tuesday. I've never had them before so my people are pretty worried. It was a weird experience. I started out getting really stiff. I had a hard time walking so I picked my feet up really high and when I sat down I had to hold up one of my paws. Then I threw up a couple of times - gross. After that I got a little scared and tried to walk toward the door. I stumbled a lot and pooped on the way. The bright side to all this? I was already at the vet when it happened! I had just had an exam and a blood draw for a heartworm test. The vet examined me as I was coming out of it and my eyes weren't very responsive. They checked the blood that they had just taken and my glucose level was way down. Nobody knows why it happened, but late that night I had another episode. It was just like the first one only shorter and milder. Please send good thoughts my way! I don't want any more seizures. And if I do have more, I want to get my own seizure-alert dog.

One of my Christmas presents

For Christmas I got a little pink Nylabone. But I think it's too sissy so I still carry around the giant Galileo Nylabones. They're as big as my head, but I want the other dogs to see how tough I am.

It's a big job, but somebody has to do it

I am the littlest. That's what they tell me. I'm also the only female dog in the house. My job is to keep all the boy dogs in line. I take my job seriously, but I also have a ton of fun doing it. The only dog I will listen to is Ajax, but I will still gnaw on his legs when he is in a good mood. My best friend is Scooby because I can boss him around all I want and he's the only one small enough to wrestle with me. I adore my mom. She feeds me and gives me massages and cares about me very much. I think my dad is great, too, but I have been known to sleep on, chew, pee on, and hump his pillow. I don't think about my past much because I like to live in the present and know that I am right where I belong.
