Arrival Story:
I belong to a website that people offer items for free in our area. I've been deleating the emails from them for months because I had no time to read all the digests. But on Jan. 9, 2005, Sunday morning, I decided to see what was being offered. There was a letter telling the group about this little dog that needed a new home. The next letter was a picture of Max. He won me over right then. The story is that his first owner got him from the Humain Soc. They kept him tied up outside all day and tied up in a garage at night with all car parts and motorcycles surrounding him. They never dealt with him. The woman who rescued him worked with the woman who owned him. The owner thought nothing of letting her know how she was not taking care of him. This bothered the woman who rescued him so much that she just went to the womans house and said she knows someone who wants the dog if she wants to give it up. She said okay. But the woman didn't really have anyone in mind. She just wanted to get Max out of that bad situation. When she went to get Max out of the garage, she said it was so matted up and stank. She took Max home and told his story on the website that I belong to and the rest is history.
