a scary day

COOKIES!!

Well, my daddy makes dog biscuits for us. (we call them cookies) I guess my mom doesn't make them because sometimes, judging from the amount of leftovers, she doesn't always cook so good. Anyway our cookies used to be really good. Then Rufus, the big dumb Padoofus, got some food allergy problems so now we can't have corn meal or beef stuff in our cookies. I knew they tasted different and today when he was making them I watched and snuck a look at the recipe. He's been substituting other stuff but now I have the real recipe so I'm going to make them the way they are supposed to be made. I'll just have to wait for mom and dad to be gone so I can get into the kitchen. They don't like me to be in the kitchen because of hair and slobber issues. Of course Puddinhead Padoofus can go in the kitchen because my mom always says "oh sweetie, look at your big sweet face" and then she kisses him (YUCK!!) and doesn't even care that he sheds more than 10 regular dogs and drools in big ropy strings. I'm not sharing any good cookies with him when I get them made. On second thought maybe I will and laugh when he gets those "hot spots" on his pink freckled hide.

a scary day

We went to the dog park today and I thought it was going to be fun because there were a lot of little dogs there and I could kind of scare them but then 5!! Great Danes chased me and I was so scared. My friend Rufus is as big as them and he could have helped me but he just watched. The big dummy! He is gonna get it when we get home! A dog peed on his head while he was sniffing a bush so that serves him right! I really do love him but I want to be alpha dog and even though he lets me pretend sometimes, he really is alpha dog. Maybe I can scare the neighbors cat when we get home!
