Likes:
Anukhet loves to run free, in the forest and on the beach. She loves being close to the fire, and, a hot sheet out of the dryer for bedtime. Throw her a frisbee and she is yours for hours.

Pet-Peeves:
She HATES being cold and won't lie down on a hard surface. The COME command when she is running off leash is another hateful consequence of her life.

Favorite Toy:
Her brother, Brahma.

Favorite Food:
Anukhet will eat ANYTHING, anytime. We have to watch her around food every minute, nothing can be left unattended. She once ate out of a simmering frying pan on top of the stove.

Favorite Walk:
The trails in the forest, a five minute walk from our house. And the beach.

Best Tricks:
I didn't teach her tricks, just good manners.

Arrival Story:
Anukhet came to us at nine weeks of age from another province, a five hour flight away. From the moment I saw this gangly, one ear up and one ear down, little puppy, my heart just melted. Although the first two years of her life were difficult - she had to be watched all of the time because she would eat anything - she has settled down and is a beloved member of our family. Anukhet is an amazingly beautiful dog, (I can say that because we don't share the same gene pool!) and wherever we go, people want to talk about her. She is friendly with strangers but not overly so - she loves me best and I absolutely ADORE her!
