A day in the life of Rufus

Great day!

What a good time we had today! We went to the dog park early in the morning before it got warm. There were 5 Great Danes there that we met for the first time. They chased Bailey and scared the crap out of her but it did her good. She is way too bossy. There was a beautiful little dashhound there and we made acquaintances. My mom got upset because I was smelling a bush and another dog came over and peed on my head. It didn't bother me any. He didn't mean anything by it but my mom thought it was yucky! It dried and she forgot about it and kissed me anyway. Then we got nice cool water to drink and some homemade cookies. We went home and had good long naps. Today rocked!

a bad day

Well, great. Mom says I can't get on the couch anymore. She says I drooled on the arms of the couch so much that when it dried day after day it feels like concrete now. I don't mind and I think it smells just fine but she says no more. She did get me a couple of beds and I must admit they are very comfy and easier to get on. But I think she should have consulted me first. Oh well, humans! you can't live with em sometimes but you can't live without them!
