Arrival Story:
Precious was purchased by my older brother and became a part of our family. She spent more and more time at my parents' house and eventually became a full-time resident there. Today she spends her time at my parents' house and my brother's house. She is a member of our family and loves visiting both her homes.

Bio:
Precious is a pure-bred Shih Tzu and was the definite stand-out of her brothers and sisters. All her animal friends have always been cats. Her best friend in the whole world was our cat Sonya. She passed away in 2003 and since then Precious has managed okay without her friend. Precious also had a brief friendship with Sonya's babies, Sonya Jr, Socks, Spot, and Curly. Precious had always been very energetic until her accident around 1998. She was improperly held down by a groomer and the pressure popped her eye out. She underwent surgery and still has vision in her eye. She unfortunately became less energetic afterwards. Precious recovered well though and still maintains a lot of her excitability. Sometime in 1999, after an un-holy union, Precious gave birth to three Shih Tzuranians. She mothered them until they weaned off of her and became old enough to adopt out. Now with the brats out of the house, Precious was free to go back to her routine of sleeping, eating cookies, and going on buh-byes. Today Precious enjoys plenty of time to follow her interests and achieve her goals. She is enjoying her retirement years with a loving family and plenty of yummy cookies.
