Arrival Story:
Having promised the spirit of an old Peke we wanted to adopt that we would find the oldest, neediest Peke and adopt it, we found Rosie via Petfinders. When we picked her up, we had to drive home with the windows open the stench was so bad. It was coming from a severe case of dry eye. We thought she was blind. Turns out, a little grooming, a couple of square meals a day, and some good eye medication turned her into a happy, bouncy little girl.
Bio:
Rosie has really started slowing down and her sight and hearing are nearly gone. She still enjoys her dinners and her cookies, but spends a great deal more time in her bed with her red dog baby. She ages gracefully and wtih dignity, like we knew she would.
