I adopted maggie from the pund in saskatoon. she had been found wandering the highway and had been in the pound for almost two months when I met her. I adopted her on my birthday in June (now her birthday too) but she had to live with a friend of mine for two months because I didn't have a pet friendly apartment! in august we drove out to our new home in vancouver, where we all happily live now: maggie, my cat and myself.
