Arrival Story: ma mammie his always lurved basset hounds(i mean who could resist) an decided finally it wis time to get a puppy, efter many phonecalls she found a breeder in aberdeen (about 4hrs away) who hid 1 puppy left fae a litter. she came tae see me an fell in lurv instantly!

Ma favourite basset babe's gotton sick, she's been diagnosed wae lymphoma an is havin tae go through loadsa nasty treatments! we've been sendin basset prayers an drool tae up above prayin fer her speedy recovery an hope everydog else that reads this will dae the same fer the lurvly penny. She sure is a special lass an doesnae deserve tae be sick! so loadsa prayers pawease an if ye can spare any drool that'll help tae! fanks x ............................................................ ........................................................ UPDATE.....Penny Jo has gone tae play at the rainbow bridge :( a tragic accident took her an not the lymphoma, her mammie is so sad an misses her terribly as ye can imagine *sniff*.... we all miss 'da diva' but hopes she havin' fun at the bridge......we lurvs ye penny jo x
well all ma friends av discovered a new hobby a want tae share wae ye all! BURD CHASIN!! roon at the park where ma mammie always takes us there's wee swifts that swoop an fly right low tae the grass and boy am a determined am catchin wan! am fast ye know bit jist no quite as fast as they pesky wee burds! a hiftae run the length ae the field afore they dae a loop the loop then a stop look up tae the sky catch sight ae another wan and run hell fur leather as it swoops doon low, ma mammie finks its hilarious an says a should be huntin foxes no burds! bit hey it's fun gee it a try!
Well the day started well when a startled oor poor wee postie wae the famous basset bark teehee, i get him everytime he's no expectin it! it's even gettin tae the stage were me wee bruver oliver joins in ! aye i'm teachin him well! ma ole da took us tae oor favourite park this mornin an a got tae sniff where aw the foxes had been runnin aboot fae the night before (anyhoo how bigs a fox? never seen wan yet but av sniffed alot!) ma wee mammie his oor breakfasts ready fer efter oor mornin walk (av her well trained tae) then it's a big long sleep ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. ma mammie wiz oot shoppin the day, i sat at the windae the whole time watchin fer her gettin back coz she said she'll bring is sumthin nice! and she's never wan tae break a promise!
aye she done us proud! pigs ears an rawhide twists, ma favourites , needless tae say we had tae hav wan straight away! tried ma luck as usual fer another but nae joy (need tae learn how tae get in that cupboard)
what fun we awe had on oor evenin walk, thats when ma mammie takes us, she took her camera tae an snapped us runnin aboot the field, i jist lurv chasin oliver aboot the place (he's fast aye but he tires quick teehee) i always get him in the end SLOW N STEADY WINS THE RACE! well efter oor walk it's dinner then loadsa snuggles n bellyrubs, what mer could a basset want!
